SILLOTH THE HOLIDAY LINE
After 2 years of research they have finally produced an exhibition in the Carlisle Library from September the 1st to the 11th 2004.
The display will consist of models of the stations & Drumbrugh Signal Box.
Old news cuttings about the line will support the 30min visual computer show, which will be similar to the website pages.
It is all down to Dr Beeching who recommended to British Railways to close the line on September 6th 1964 which was the end of the summer timetable.
