Over the years the society has become
a modeling group, In the 70s the biggest exhibition was in Glasgow, and
still is today.
The Border Railway Society held its own exhibitions in Carlisle & transported the portable layout to local venues in Cumbria.
A invite to Tullie House Museum was received by the club in 1986 for the exhibition of our railway City. In conjunction with Tullie House the society held a exhibition in the City Hall which has since been demolished for the extension to Tullie house.
