The Forth Bridge Model has been under construction for two years now, it is slow work and fragile. 

It is built in plastic, except for the cantilever springs which are the curved parts under the bridge, they are made out of wood. All of the outer girders and tubes are fitted and painted but not yet glued. The cassions which the bridge stands on will be fitted when the first cantilever is complete.
