KINGS CROSS

My interest in the East Coast Main Line as always fascinated me. I made a number of visits from 1957, starting at Newcastle. It was a bottle neck with a large diamond crossing at the east end of the station, but it is wonder in steel. It was a fantastic sound to hear the wheels of the coaches clanking across at a slow speed.
